Job Responsibilities:
- Be the single point responsible for planning and executing all project management and construction management activities of the assigned project
- Preparing a comprehensive project plan encompassing work schedule, manpower allocation, equipment and materials requirements prior to commencing the project works
- Oversee on-site construction activities, including the continuous monitoring of work progress and the diligent management of work schedules
- Be the single point responsible for planning, executing and ensuring construction project safety
- Ensure the consistent adherence to quality standards throughout the project lifecycle, including the meticulous supervision of construction, as well as conducting comprehensive quality control assessments encompassing concrete strength, cement, re-bars, and the craftsmanship of finishing tasks like plastering, tiling, carpentry, and painting, with the goal of minimizing and eliminating post-handover defects
- Manage and oversee project activities to ensure alignment with master project schedules, adherence to approved budgets, and prepare monthly Project Progress Reports (PPR)
- Establish and maintain strong coordination with all project stakeholders, including SCM, P&C, Logistics, CS, and others, to proactively prevent delays, defects, inactivity, and to promote the smooth progress of construction projects
- Arrange and facilitate routine meetings at the project site office, bringing together site engineers and relevant contractors to oversee and ensure progress, quality, and safety in the project
- Maintain accurate records of any supplementary tasks such as dismantling, demolition, or additional work, and furnish these records to the Head Office as necessary for cost calculation purposes
- Carry out any other jobs, as assigned by management
Requirments:
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from a reputed public university
- Minimum 8 – 15 years of experience in real estate, high-rise buildings, or large-scale commercial/residential projects
- Strong computer skills in MS Office applications and MS Project Software
- Good design and drawing review skills and ability
- Sound knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and any other tool required for the role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a pleasant personality
- Self-driven and proactive to take initiative, result-oriented and devoted to work
- Ability to deliver extraordinary performance under pressure, both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to use technology and analytical tools in the job and problem-solving
