Role Overview

The Retail Operations Manager will design and maintain data infrastructure that supports the daily and strategic needs of the retail business. By bridging the gap between raw data and actionable insights, this role optimizes inventory management, enhances the customer experience, and empowers leadership to make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Management & Governance: Develop, implement, and maintain retail databases, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and high data quality
• System Integration: Oversee the synchronization of critical retail systems, including Point-of-Sale (POS), e-commerce platforms, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and inventory tools
• Inventory & Supply Chain Analytics: Monitor and manage inventory data (stock movements, reorder points, and replenishment cycles) to ensure optimal stock levels and reduce out-of-stocks
• Reporting & Dashboards: Design and generate regular performance and KPI reports regarding store operations, sales figures, and promotional success
• Customer Data Management: Manage customer data—including profiles, purchase history, and marketing preferences—to support targeted marketing and loyalty programs
• Data Security & Privacy: Implement compliance and security measures to protect sensitive business and consumer data from unauthorized access
• Data Cleansing & Maintenance: Conduct regular data audits to ensure completeness, remove duplicates, and resolve data discrepancies
• Data-Driven Decision Making:
• 4 analytical layers: Descriptive → Diagnostic → Predictive → Prescriptive
• Executive dashboards for management, ZMs, Channel Leads

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Information Technology, Retail Management, or a related field from a reputed university
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Retail Management, Data Analysis, or Operations in any MNC

Salary:

• BDT- 100,000/- 140,000/- (based on experience)

• Dhaka, Bangladesh.
