Position: Manager/Sr. Manager – HR & Administration
Salary: BDT 120,000 – 160,000/(Based on experience)
Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh
Responsibilities:
* Supervise recruitment team members in fulfilling hiring requirements, preparing job specifications/descriptions, and executing initial screening and interview processes
* Support and advise departments and group colleagues throughout the recruitment and selection cycle
* Apply effective sourcing strategies such as targeted headhunting, online recruitment platforms, networking, internal databases, and employee referrals
* Proactively build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through diverse sourcing channels
* Ensure timely and effective orientation and onboarding in coordination with the Learning & Development team, including circulation of new joiner announcements
* Act as a strategic partner to drive organizational change management and business optimization initiatives alongside the HoD
* Implement change management projects to improve HR processes, policies, systems, and organizational culture; monitor and measure impact on performance, efficiency, retention, and satisfaction
* Manage HR operations and provide timely HR services in accordance with company policies, rules, regulations, and the Bangladesh Labor Law
* Prepare periodic HR reports on recruitment, training, salary reviews, promotions, increments, disciplinary actions, etc., and conduct HR analytics (competency/skills assessment, gap analysis, TNA) for management review
* Conduct periodic visits to company stores, distribution centers, and warehouses to identify HR-related issues and ensure resolution. Lead yearly self-assessment programs and interview processes
* Manage job satisfaction surveys and periodic salary surveys with the HoD to identify expectations, motivation drivers, and retention factors, and propose improvement plans
* Evaluate and promote diversity and inclusion initiatives, and propose actionable plans to strengthen D&I practices across the organization
* Supervise and coordinate the annual increment and promotion process with the HR team and HoD
* Monitor and guide team members in preparing payroll-related sheets (salary, allowances, OT, bonuses, final settlements, etc.) as required
* Update employee information (transfers, promotions, increments, etc.) in HRMS/manual systems and coordinate employee development programs with the HR team
Requirement:
* Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in an HR & Administration role, preferably within Retail, FMCG, or Consumer Lifestyle sectors
* MBA or BBA in Management or HRM from any reputed University
