Role Summary:

Ensure organisational effectiveness by strategically leading Human Resources, Administrative Services, and Security functions, ensuring the right people, systems, and safeguards are in place to support organisation operational excellence, compliance, staff well-being, and organisational growth in line with best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Leadership:

  • Provide strategic input in the development, revision, and implementation of HR policies, systems, and SOPs
  • Lead and implement change management initiatives to strengthen leadership capacity at all organisational levels
  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organization current and future business and service delivery goals
  • Institutionalise Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Performance Management Systems (PMS) for all permanent staff
  • Ensure accurate, updated job descriptions and role clarity across departments
  • Oversee recruitment, selection, onboarding, performance appraisal, and exit management processes
  • Advise senior management on compensation, benefits, workforce planning, and succession planning
  • Lead staff training, learning, and organisational development initiatives
  • Manage disciplinary processes, counselling, and performance improvement actions in line with policy and law
  • Promote a respectful, safe, and inclusive workplace culture, including clinician–management coordination

Administrative Oversight:

  • Execute and monitor organisational administrative policies, procedures, and systems approved by management
  • Oversee non-clinical administrative functions, including facilities management, transport, logistics, and vendor coordination
  • Ensure effective vehicle and asset management for hospital-owned and rented resources
  • Review and authorise administrative bills, documentation, and interdepartmental correspondence in line with the delegation of authority
  • Coordinate with department heads to ensure administrative support without encroaching on clinical decision-making

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform any other duties assigned by management that are consistent with the scope and seniority of the role and in the best interest of organisation
  • Develop, implement, and periodically review Fire, Safety, and Security SOPs
  • Design and lead an integrated institutional security framework, covering physical security, emergency preparedness, and crisis management
  • Conduct security risk assessments and safety audits, recommending mitigation and corrective measures to senior management
  • Provide strategic oversight of daily security operations, ensuring proactive risk prevention and continuous system improvement
  • Lead the management and investigation of security incidents or emergencies, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up
  • Promote a culture of security awareness through regular training, drills, and staff communication
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable security, fire safety, and occupational safety laws and regulations
  • Maintain strong coordination with law enforcement, emergency services, regulatory bodies, and local authorities
  • Prepare and present security risk reports, incident analyses, and policy recommendations to senior management
  • Develop and manage the security budget and resource planning
  • Provide leadership and performance oversight to security personnel and service providers
  • Perform other security-related duties assigned by management, consistent with the scope and seniority of the role

Requirement:

  • MBA with a major in Human Resource Management (HRM), Management, or Organisational Development
  • Minimum 15 years, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or “Head of HR & Admin” role, preferably in healthcare, or complex service organisations

Salary:

  • BDT 150,000 – 180,000/ (based on experience)
