๐๐จ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐:
The Manager โ Accounts & Finance will lead and manage the finance & accounts functions, ensuring accurate reporting, effective financial controls, compliance with statutory requirements, and strategic financial planning. This role requires strong technical financial expertise combined with leadership ability to oversee the companyโs accounting and finance operations in a fast-paced export-oriented knitwear environment.
๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ:
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
* Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Bangladesh Accounting Standards and IFRS principles
* Ensure timely and accurate compliance with statutory requirements including VAT, tax, AIT, corporate tax, and other government regulations
* Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process, ensuring timely closure of audit findings
Accounts Management:
* Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash books, and bank reconciliations
* Maintain proper accounting records, journals, and reconciliation statements
* Monitor and control cash flow and fund flows, ensuring business continuity and liquidity
Budgeting & Forecasting:
* Lead the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis against actual performance
* Prepare financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and cost controls for management decision-making
Financial Control & Strategy:
* Implement and enforce internal financial controls, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
* Provide recommendations for financial performance improvement, cost reduction, and process enhancements
* Support senior management with financial analysis and insights to drive business strategy
Team Leadership:
* Supervise and mentor the accounts and finance team, promoting a high level of accuracy and collaboration
* Develop staff competencies and ensure accountability and efficiency across the finance function
๐๐๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ:
* Bachelorโs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Masterโs preferred)
* Professional qualifications such as ACCA/CIMA/CA (part-qualified or qualified) are highly desirable
* Minimum 7 – 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, ideally within the garments, textile, export-oriented manufacturing sector
* Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, audit coordination, and team management
