About the Role:

The Accountant reports to the Finance and Accounts Manager and is the administrative backbone of our operations. You will bring accuracy and accountability to every transaction, ensuring our ledgers are flawless, our reporting is timely, and our compliance is airtight.  Job Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date ledgers by recording daily transactions, sales, expenses, and payments. So financial data is always reliable and ready for review
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage AP/AR aging with precision: process vendor invoices on schedule, and follow up on collections systematically to protect cash flow
• Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations so that every figure is verified, every discrepancy is resolved, and leadership has full financial clarity
• Journal Entries: Prepare and post monthly journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and adjustments in accordance with company policy and financial regulations
• Month-End Close & Reporting: Support the month-end and year-end close process, contributing to the preparation of accurate balance sheets and P&L statements on time
• Compliance & Administration: Assist with tax filings (VDS and TDS), audit preparation, and ad-hoc financial projects, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory standards and internal compliance requirements

 Requirements:

• Minimum 4-5 Years of experience as an Accountant in a similar industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from any reputed university with CACC

Salary:

• BDT 50,000 – 60,000/ (based on experience)
