Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Advisory Support:
- Provide informed strategic advice to the Honorary Counsellor on diplomatic, business, and socio‑political matters
- Support strategic decision‑making by preparing briefs, background notes, and situational analyses
- Maintain continuous awareness of global affairs, bilateral relations, and international developments
Speechwriting & Communication:
- Prepare, draft, and refine speeches, remarks, talking points, and written statements for national and international events
- Tailor content according to event context, audience profile, diplomatic sensitivity, and protocol requirements
Stakeholder & Network Management:
- Liaise with high‑profile stakeholders, including government officials, diplomats, business leaders, civil society representatives, and media
- Maintain strong working relationships with “who’s who” in diplomatic, government, and business circles
- Ensure sustained engagement and rapport within the Counsellor’s network
Event, Meeting & Protocol Management:
- Manage and coordinate the Counsellor’s business meetings, diplomatic engagements, seminars, delegations, and official tours (domestic and international)
- Prepare guest lists, prioritizing invitees based on designation, seniority, protocol, and event objectives.
- Be present at all relevant meetings, seminars, and official engagements
- Take accurate meeting notes and prepare professional meeting minutes, follow‑up actions, and confidential records
Office, Calendar & Coordination:
- Organize, maintain, and proactively manage the Counsellor’s calendar, ensuring efficient time management and prioritization
- Act as a coordination hub between the Counsellor, office staff, and Personal Assistant (PA)
- Ensure Counsellor’s whereabouts, schedules, and priorities are appropriately communicated to key internal stakeholders
Diplomatic Office Support:
- Ensure alignment with best practices expected of a Counsellor’s office, including confidentiality, protocol, record‑keeping, and professional conduct
- Serve as a buffer and filter for information, requests, and engagements directed to the Counsellor
- Anticipate needs, risks, and emerging issues, responding proactively rather than reactively

Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Law, Business, Public Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 6 – 8 years of experience in advisory, diplomatic, executive support, or senior coordination roles
- Strong understanding of diplomatic protocol, stakeholder engagement, and event management
- Excellent command of English
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required
