Job Summary:

The Head of School/Principal is responsible for leading and supervising day-to-day operations and helping guide the operational team in achieving academic excellence. The principal/head of school should also be supporting student enrollment by being the face of the organization and helping to gain the trust of parents by handling their inquiries professionally and sincerely. The role also emphasizes establishing a safe and secure environment by strictly adhering to child protection/health and hygiene policies.

Responsibilities:

• Help design and implement the core curriculum and lesson plans
• Monitor teaching & health/hygiene standards
• Conduct teacher and student evaluations and performance reviews
• Build a positive, collaborative work culture that encourages students and teacher growth
• Handle parent inquiries and concerns, conduct orientation & progress sessions
• Support student enrollment by working with the marketing team
• Ensure high retention and satisfaction rates

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years hands-on experience in preschool/daycare or school environment, at least 3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role of an educational institute
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, or related field
• Strong Leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication skills, having a good command of written and spoken English
• Thorough understanding of the early childhood education curriculum and progress
• Positive and collaborative attitude
• Accustomed to problem-solving and prompt decision-making
