The Head of Supply Chain will be responsible for the end-to-end synchronization of the supply chain ecosystem. This individual will bridge the gap between Marketing demand, Production capacity, and Inventory management, ensuring that material procurement (LC/Commercial) aligns perfectly with the factory’s output goals and the companyโs financial targets.
๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ:
1. Demand & Supply Synchronization (Marketing & Planning):
โย Lead the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by translating Marketing Forecasts into actionable Production Plans
โย Act as the primary liaison between the Sales/Marketing teams and the Factory to ensure order feasibility and on-time delivery
2. Production Planning & Inventory Control:
โย Oversee the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for the fabric factory to maximize machine utilization and minimize downtime
โย Manage Warehouse & Stock levels (Greige, Yarn, and Chemicals), maintaining a “Lean” inventory model to reduce carrying costs while preventing stock-outs
3. Procurement & Commercial Coordination:
โย Direct the New Material Order Placement process based on real-time consumption data
โย Work closely with the Commercial Team to manage Letter of Credit (LC) documentation, import/export compliance, and supplier negotiations
โย Ensure raw material lead times are factored into the production timeline to avoid bottlenecks
4. Strategic Leadership & Optimization:
โย Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies in the fabric manufacturing process
โย Implement robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for material movement from “Port to Plant to Product”
๐๐๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ:
โย Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership in Supply Chain Management, specifically within the RMG or Fabric manufacturing industry
โย MBA in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related technical degree (Textile Engineering background is a significant plus)
โย Deep understanding of fabric production cycles (Knitting/Dyeing/Finishing), Yarn procurement, and international commercial terms (Incoterms)
โย Hands-on experience with LC management, banking formalities, and global sourcing
โย Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local specialized RMG software) and advanced Excel for data-driven decision-making
