𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐚, 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐡

𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞:
The Lead – Fire & Safety is responsible for shaping and driving the company’s fire safety and emergency preparedness strategy across all facilities and retail outlets. This person will develop, implement, and monitor fire safety systems and programs that protect employees, customers, assets, and the company’s reputation.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
Fire Safety Strategy & Compliance:
* Develop and maintain fire safety policies, procedures and standards aligned with Bangladesh legal requirements and industry best practices
* Ensure compliance with all relevant fire prevention and safety regulations, building codes, and internal guidelines
* Coordinate with local fire authorities and regulatory bodies for inspections, approvals, and licensing

Risk Assessment & Mitigation:
* Conduct regular fire risk assessments and hazard analyses for warehouses, retail outlets, head office and facilities
* Identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions to reduce fire and safety risks

Systems & Equipment Management
* Oversee installation, inspection and maintenance of fire protection systems (extinguishers, alarms, sprinklers, emergency lighting, exit routes)
* Ensure fire safety equipment is tested and certified according to schedules

Training & Awareness
* Plan and deliver fire safety training programs for employees at all levels
* Organize drills, evacuation exercises and awareness sessions to build readiness and responsiveness

Incident Response & Investigation
* Lead emergency response during fire-related incidents or safety breaches
* Conduct incident investigations to determine causes, document findings and recommend preventive measures
* Prepare reports for management and regulatory reporting if required

Team Coordination & Leadership:
* Work closely with facilities, operations, HR, loss prevention and outlet leadership to align safety priorities
* Guide and mentor junior safety staff or fire marshals
Promote a safety-first culture throughout the organization

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
* Bachelor’s degree in Fire Safety Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or a related field
* Professional certification in fire safety or risk management is a plus (e.g., NEBOSH Fire Certificate, NFPA)
* Minimum 7 – 10 years of experience in fire safety, emergency preparations, or a related safety function
* Strong knowledge of Bangladesh fire codes, NFPA standards, and workplace safety regulations
