Youโll lead sales strategy and execution across a defined division. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, expanding market reach, building strong distributor relationships, and leading sales teams to deliver results in both primary and secondary channels
๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ:
Sales Growth & Targets:
* Hit monthly, quarterly, and annual sales volume and revenue goals
* Drive both primary sales (to distributors) and secondary sales (to retail/wholesale)
* Ensure product availability and visibility across all trade channels
Distribution & Market Coverage:
* Expand distribution footprint including general trade, modern trade, and wholesale
* Manage stock levels, timely product delivery, and channel execution
* Improve numeric and weighted distribution in your division
Market Execution & Insights:
* Enforce merchandising standards and point-of-sale activities for key product lines
* Track competitor pricing, activities, and market movements
* Lead field promotions and campaigns to boost consumer demand
Team Leadership:
* Supervise, coach, and motivate zonal and field sales teams (e.g., Zone In-Charge, Sales Reps)
* Conduct route audits, joint market visits, and performance reviews
* Build a high-performing, accountable team culture
Planning & Reporting:
* Develop sales plans, forecasts, and territory reporting dashboards
* Maintain regular MIS updates on sales performance, distribution metrics and KPIs
* Use sales analytics to refine execution plans
๐๐๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ:
* Bachelorโs degree in Business, Marketing or a related field (MBA preferred)
* Minimum 5โ7 years of sales experience, ideally in FMCG, food products, or fast-moving consumer goods
* Proven experience managing teams and distributor networks
* Strong commercial acumen and understanding of sales channels
* Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
* Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools
